Designed by a renowned team of Parisian Ateliers Jean Nouvel in collaboration with Australian firm PTW Architects, One Central Park in downtown Sydney has received some high recognition in just the past few weeks alone. — bustler.net
The project was recently named the Best Tall Building for the Asia + Australia region in CTBUH's 2014 Best Tall Buildings, shortlisted in the World Architecture Festival Awards, and received a Commendation in the NSW Architecture Awards 2014.

Jean Nouvel's stuff is usually pretty interesting, but this is horrible.
Thank Dog it's not in NY.
Do you all see the trailer for that starchitect competition movie? This is what happens when Nouvel walks into the studio while a bunch of interns are building massing models, and he says, "What the F is this? What the hell are you doing? Hang some cantilevered shit off the side of the building!" , and storms off.
Another glass box covered in a shmear of green, lovely. Also, I like how unstable those cantilevers look. They get me out of my middle class bubble and remind me of how tenuous life can be.
Cracker Jack box with prize hanging outside.
