This project began as an analysis of the volleybal
L-R-L spike movement. Using frame by
frame analysis of the movement I was able to
focus on the bending of the knees and the overall
trajectory of the body by observing the feet
and arms.
The movement of the knees, the arms, and the
overall trajectory were then extrapolated and
used to make an elevated enclosure nested within
a frame of the train track that runs through
Penn Park. The enclosure begins at ground level,
an through a suspended walkway the patron
arrives at an glass enclosed observation deck
that looks over to Center City.
