A long and narrow room provided a unique design challenge for this residential kitchen renovation. To maintain openness and a central circulation spine, two islands were created, maximizing working space. The layering of metals creates a rich palette of warmth and precision, juxtaposed to the rugged natural wood of the flooring, table, and countertops.
Organic shapes of glass, walls, and fixtures introduced in the bathroom renovations reflect the intimacy of these spaces. An emphasis on natural light, neutral finishes, and moments of iridescence create a sense of calm, allowing for a moment of relaxation and escape.
