The Varela family wanted a large house with many spaces on a budget. Because of their budget we decided on a load bearing wall design which was the most economic to build. The house is designed in such way that the structure is embedded in the walls and one cannot know where the load bearing walls are. This house was a nice challenge because we did not want the house to be shown as a low budget house, but as a magnificent design and space. What the family lacked in budget they had in good taste.
