A representative store façade for a supermarket in the protected historical district of Amsterdam Oud-Zuid. The proportions bring back the original spatial structure of the shopping street. In the new façade, the existing porch doors of the dwellings above have been maintained and painted black. High-quality materials such as natural stone and steel have been combined in a sophisticated, contemporary way to blend in with the historical context.
