One of my roles for this project was to perform bi-weekly walk-thrus (usually with either the contractor or a specific consultant) and create a punchlist to distribute to all applicable parties. I would create the punchlist using Microsoft Excel, and pair them with images that I annotated in Adobe Photoshop to ensure full clarity to all parties.
