I was responsible for all architectural and design drawings for this transitional-style home in Scarsdale. The Entry Hall’s stair design was to mirror the marriage of traditional building components (stone and wood) with modern components (steel and glass) that extends throughout the house. With large spans of steel members (C-channels) and numerous custom details, the stairs required extensive and precise details that I and the Principal Architect collaborated on. This project has been deemed by many of my coworkers (including the Principal Architect) as having one of the strongest set of construction drawings so far in the firms portfolio.
