The Foxwoods Casino Phase 4 Concourse is an commercial renovation of 40,000 of dining & retail space. My primary responsibility was the design of the retail facade system which accounted for nearly 50% of the projects scope. The retail concourse is lined with a modular fragmented glass facade system.
Foxwoods Casino sits within a dense forest landscape surrounded by acres of greenery and full of natural light. As the retail concourse sits at the periphery of the complex the conceptual drive was to develop a facade system that would abstractly reflect the sky, horizon and ground with simultaneously creating lightness and openness within the concourse.
