Located on the fifth floor of a six-story brick loft building, the office looks north over the new Rose Kennedy Greenway and the Financial District of Boston. The office is open plan, with no doors except where needed for support areas. A conference area is adjacent to a magnificent arched glass picture window separated by an L-shaped bookcase that houses over a thousand volumes on architecture, art and design. Medium height U-shaped computer and drawing stations provide distinct personal “places” while maintaining the openness of the studio. The layout and details encourage creativity, focus and collaboration. The space includes work stations for ten architects and designers plus conference, work and support spaces.
