The concept who led the realization of the project was to think about a building suitable for patients. Thus was born the idea of ​​developing the buildings around a circle, the circle of life, which has the function of organize the whole distribution system of the hospital.

In the basement, the ring develops the scheme of automobile transportationtherefore leaving space above ground completely accessible by patients and family members in total safety. The volumes which make the entire design are portions of a circle intersecting with the center ring, the heart of the hospital, that has a inner "secret garden".

Particular attention has been paid to the use of colors in exterior facades. Each pavilion is composed on a specific colour, complementary to the hosting function.

The facade system is a double skin made by glass and perforated panels; they permit a perfect solar control for a good indoor comfort living.
