The Richard Slawson Adult Education Center is 25 million dollar vocation adult school located in a warehouse district of Bell, California.  The school houses a series of highly specialized classrooms, such as culinary, cosmetology, construction arts, and auto shops.  The exterior of the school responds to the austere industrial environment by creating a strong scholastic identity through the use of color.

The school won the CASH award for outstanding design in 2014.
