Anchored in a 50’ by 60’ lot and rising to cantilever and twist over an adjacent five-story building, a proposed eleven-story residential loft building negotiates the allowable zoning setback and sky-exposure plane with a dynamic double-glazed skin. The design and development package received a 2001 Progressive Architecture Award citation and the project was exhibited at the Max Protech Gallery in NYC.
