The challenge of this project was to maintain its original architectural integrity. A double wide mobile home, the main focus was to apply sustainable design propositions by keeping the shell's originality while updating its interior with a minimum of interventions. The use of industrial look lamps on both exterior and interior of the property created a barn style, removing the old mobile home stereotype. Inside, the use of solid and sober colors created a neutral background that blended with the existing walls. The use of black granite chiseled edge counter tops was the only splash of sophistication in the context, but it tied the whole room together just like Lebowski's rug!
