The neighborhood "dingbat" apartments confine living units behind the rear of the site and street frontage is beholden to repeating garage doors. In contrast, this project is a garden walk-up type arrangement that enhances the frontage with parking in the rear of the site. The units step back toward the rear and sculpted metal stairs become bleachers to view street life.
