I am part of Collective Office, an award winning architecture firm located in Chicago. In the past, I have collaborated on projects with the Hyatt Hotels Corporation, SANAA (Sejima and Nishizawa and Associates), and ACI Boland Architects. I am a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology with a professional bachelor's of Architecture and a minor in Urban Studies.

Works on all aspects and phases of the design and construction process for residential and commercial projects.

Collaborates with other architects to solve design problems using plans, sections, diagramming, and renderings.

Provided design support to the Americas Design Services team with both new-build and renovation projects.

Worked with team architects on public areas, guestrooms, back of house programs, millwork, and presentation graphics.

Evaluated potential projects through drawing, diagramming, writing, and photography.

Kazuyo Sejima + Ryue Nishizawa / SANAA, Chicago, Exhibition Intern

Collaborated with the Tokyo-based office on a 30’ x 24’ installation for the 2017 Chicago Architecture Biennial.

Communicated across continents with project architects to meet design deadlines through models and drawings.

Worked on-site in the Chicago Cultural Center to complete purchasing, production, and finishing of the project.

Schiff Foundation Fellowship for Architecture and Design, Nomination

The Schiff Foundation Fellowship, first granted in 1989 and administered by the Department of Architecture of the Art Institute, is given annually to one student from either the University of Illinois at Chicago, Illinois Institute of Technology, or The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The winning student's portfolio becomes part of the permanent collection of architectural drawings housed within the Ernest R. Graham Study Center for Architectural Drawings.

Dwight T. Black Memorial Scholarship, 1st Place

Scholarship received for 626 West Chicago Avenue, named the best 4th year studio project. The project was nominated by a faculty member and judged by a panel of professionals.

Hyatt Hotels Summer Intern Challenge Winner, 1st Place

Developed a Mentorship Program to improve the retention of Millennial and new-hire employees. Project was presented in front of the Hyatt Hotels executive board along with 3 other competing proposals.

The Spies Droste Study Abroad Scholarship is awarded to select students who are recommended for and accepted into the Study Abroad program. Award of $1000.
