In Fremont, across from Robert McNeel and Associates, these two intersecting volumes form the required living, work and gallery spaces for this live/work studio meant for Photographer, Candida Höfer. The work and gallery spaces are connected through the vertical circulation space, with the dark room and living spaces maintained within the smaller, elongated volume.
The model, at 1/16” = 1’-0” scale, is composed of cardboard, pressboard, plastic film and both black and white foam board.
