Here I am presenting the unseen presentation of the project which otherwise I already showcased in the portfolio.
Fascinated with the movement of water, the design team selected a plot in an area that experiences the dynamic push and pull of tides and waves in a unique place: the Sundarbans in the west bay of Bengal, the world’s largest mangrove forest.
The approach to architecture is sensitive to the elements. It considers lessons from the past whilst taking a step forward into the future, being keenly aware of the changes and challenges that lay ahead. The project is designed for a family of six: grandparents, parents, and children. The three generations live in harmony in a house composed of three clusters, each with particular characteristics and atmospheres within this mythological nature. Together, they experience infinite possibilities, paths, textures and sensations in this playful, amphibious, and resilient structure.
