Plot Synopsys

When a renowned architecture scholar falls suddenly ill during a speaking
tour, his son Jin finds himself stranded in Columbus, Ind., a small Midwestern
city celebrated for its many significant modernist buildings. Jin strikes up a
friendship with Casey, a young architecture enthusiast who works at the
local library. As their intimacy develops, Jin and Casey explore both the
town and their own conflicted emotions.

A delicate coming of age story set in the small and unlikely Midwestern ‘Modernist Mecca’ of Columbus, Indiana, over 18 days. The film began shooting on July 31, 2016, and concluded on August 20, 2016. This small city of just 45,000 people houses one of America’s best collections of Modernist architecture, boasting buildings by Eliel and Eero Saarinen, IM Pei, Deborah Berke, James Stewart Polshek and Robert Venturi.
