In the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn, I worked on a small addition
to an existing brick townhouse.
Although originally conceived as a much larger addition, the solution for the client's needs ultimately became a design of an operable glass enclosure that allowed circulation, light, and air; connecting the parlor floor to the basement level while surrounding a wood burning pizza oven
(a must have on the client’s list).
We made use of every square inch of the home while preserving the marvelous details of this Italianate-era structure. Our team provided modern convenience while preserving timeless elegance.
