3D Model Management is seeking a full-time laser scan technician to join our growing team. In this hybrid on-site, office/home-office role, you will operate laser scanning equipment to capture as-built conditions of various buildings. This will involve out-of-town travel to project sites on alternating weeks. Your primary responsibilities will include laser scanning and ensuring high-quality data acquisition for projects in our expanding geographic area, this will also include scan registration and contributing to digital twin model development. This position presents an excellent growth opportunity within the company as we grow our services and service area.

The role will require using Leica and NavVis LIDAR equipment. It will also include processing and registering data using Leica Cyclone registration software, Autodesk Recap registration software, NavVis Ivvion, and Autodesk Revit alongside any data environment designated by our Clients. Salary will be commensurate with experience, training can be provided.

Location & Privacy

This role is a hybrid position with occasional in-office expectations when not on site scanning. You must be able to pass a background check and sign a non-disclosure agreement.

Successful candidates should have the following:

• Understanding and an interest in, laser scanning equipment and related fields
• Basic understanding of industry terms and registration software
• Comfort working remotely

Preferred but not required:

• A driver's license
• BIM experience
• Relevant Training in Architecture, GeoMatics, Surveying, Construction etc.
