Berg Design Architecture (BDA) is a boutique design firm located in New York City, NY. We specialize in luxury modern single-family homes in the Hamptons and luxury apartments in NYC. As a small, award-winning firm, we offer a collaborative environment with exciting opportunities for professional growth and innovative design work.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a self-motivated designer with one to two years of professional experience and a degree in architecture from an accredited program. Licensure is preferred but not required. In this role, you will be asked to work on multiple projects at the same time and be able to move between them as needed. Tasks on any given day will range from 2D drafting, 3D modeling, creating project schedules, and generating presentation materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generating project working drawings
  • Working on reflected ceiling plans, project schedules, etc.
  • Creating 3D models of design schemes.

 Qualifications:

  • Professional degree in architecture from an accredited program.
  • One or two years of professional experience.( Experience producing drawing sets from all phases of design a plus)
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively communicate with team members
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, and other design tools
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; we are unable to offer sponsorship at this time

Compensation:

  •  Salary range: $62,000 to $70,000, based on experience and qualifications
  • Generous PTO policy
