Tree House is an established and published Interior Architecture firm located in New York City, with a strong reputation for high quality 'Restaurant Design' and Food related 'Retail Design'. We're seeking a Junior, Interior Designer.

For someone early in their Design career, this would be an excellent opportunity to get first hand collaborative experience in all phases of the Design process, and a chance to participate in a wide variety of hands-on Hospitality, Restaurant and Retail Design experiences. Our work includes a wide variety of exciting medium to large Restaurant and Retail projects. Projects are fast paced with variable schedules. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously is desirable. Applicants must be able to work directly with Principal designer, Clients and Team Members on projects from Initial Design Concept through Completion.
Required Academic and Job experience is a minimum BFA Degree in Interior Design or Architecture. Preference of minimum 1 year job experience in a Design Office or Architectural Office but other experiences will also be considered.
Proficiency using SketchUp / Layout, AutoCAD, Photoshop / Adobe Suite, and MS Office are required. Knowledge and ability in any of the following are desirable and would be a plus: Lighting Design, Graphic Design, hand sketching, Photography.
Good organizational and communication skills are necessary, along with Fluency in verbal and written English.
