RZAPS / Ricardo Zurita Architecture & Planning is a collaborative, award-winning firm with a focus on projects that enliven urban public life.

Our projects are within a broad spectrum of types from new buildings, historic renovation, open spaces and interiors. Our mission is to develop unique, process-driven designs in collaboration with a wide variety of stakeholders including private clients, public agencies, and community-based groups.

We seek an energetic, highly skilled Junior Architectural Designer with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience able to work on projects with a variety of project responsibilities leading to the development of broad skills. Our collaborative work environment requires that every member of the firm commit to meaningfully contributing to elevating the outcome of each of our projects.

We are looking for candidates that meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
• Excellent design abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modeling/Rendering
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating knowledge of architectural visualization
• Knowledge of BIM (ArchiCAD a plus)
• Currently living in the New York City area; foreign applicants must be authorized to work in the US
