IpHaus is a prefab modular housing delivering solutions for sustainable and affordable building practices. We bring end-to-end improvements in construction by combining panelized modular manufacturing with a digital generative design toolkit.

We are looking for a freelance architect with at least 3 of experience in residential and mixed-use projects to work on preparing drawings for the showcase build in Brooklyn Navy Yard, planned January 2023.

Our ethos is to provide resilient, sustainable and design centric housing to meet the growing demand of affordable housing through making buildings that build neighborhoods. Our team is an internationally diverse group of people with decades of experience in materials science, real estate development, architecture and urban design. We value collaboration which we believe is an essential catalyst for good ideas and lead to actionable results.

We are starting with a showcase build in Brooklyn Navy Yard, slated to be January, 2023. We are currently seeking a FREELANCE ARCHITECT to join us on this journey (initial engagement is 3-4 months). Expected workload 20-30hrs/week.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of professional experience and should be fluent in:

- Rhino 3D

- Autocad.

- Maxwell or Lumion Rendering programs (not required but a plus)
