Role Description


A licensed or unlicensed Architect/Architectural Designer who leads, organizes and coordinates project teams and assignments to complete complex projects. Responsible for ensuring that the production of construction documents are in concert with design intent, and responsible for project scope, schedules and budgets. Resolves complex technical/design issues and provides guidance to the team. Coordinates communication between project team, sub-contractors and other disciplines. Conducts code analyses and acts as a primary point of contact with jurisdictions. Conducts on-site observations and prepares architect’s field reports. Performs submittal reviews during construction, maintains RFI and submittal logs. Can be relied upon to present directly to the client on technical and design solutions. Directly supervises the teams’ design and technical delivery.


  • Licensed/Unlicensed Architect with twelve plus years of experience in commercial interior architecture with management experience in leading project teams
  • Experience in all phases of interior architecture and engineering, including substantial and varied experience in project planning.
  • Strong proficiency in REVIT.
  • Strong expertise in construction document preparation and field operations
  • Knowledge of building materials, building codes, specifications, construction techniques, detailing and millwork design, ADA requirements, zoning and jurisdictional processes
  • Sufficient knowledge of engineering disciplines to coordinate work
  • Competent in business writing and communication skills
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office
  • 3-D computer modeling skills (Sketchup, 3D Max, Rhino, etc) a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, staff
  • Strong interpersonal skills with all levels of management and staff; excellent organizational skills
