Haus of Design is a boutique Interior Design Firm located in Hollywood, California led by Clint Nicholas. We are a creative team that takes on a variety of high-end, large scale residential properties and occasional hospitality/ commercial clients. Our projects span across the greater Los Angeles area and include additional active sites in various cities including Napa, Aspen, Miami, Austin and Barbuda. We are looking for an experienced and passionate in-house Interiors Architect that is excited to explore their craft creatively leading drawing and rendering for our holistic design process and gain unparalleled expertise immersing in hands-on project management.  

A sample of our work for reference:  

 Primary duties/ responsibilities:

  • Production of drawings and renderings for Interior Design presentations including precisely photoshopped rendered interior elevations and custom furniture renderings (2D/ 3D plans and details in AutoCAD or Revit required)
  • Architectural leadership within the studio and with clients and collaborators
  • Day-to-day project management in partnership with team, clients, contractors and vendors
  • Prepare and issue client proposals and presentations
  • Supporting the execution of installs on-site
  • Personal form of reliable transportation will be needed for site visits, meetings and installs
  • Current and future projects will require flexibility and a desire to travel (at least once a month) to on-site meetings, site visits and installs

Qualifications – REQUIRED:

  • B.Arch. required, M.Arch. preferred (accredited institution)
  • 5 years’ experience and proficiency using tools AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and rendering software such as Lumion or Maxwell
  • “Design eye” with previous Interior Design project management experience
  • Team first mentality and ability to effectively and efficiently communicate and coordinate (verbally and digitally) within the team and with external clients, contractors, vendors and partners
  • Efficient time management and prioritization of assigned tasks
  • Self-Starter capable of multi-tasking without losing attention to detail
  • Demonstrates an adaptable, collaborative, and positive attitude
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.  No sponsorship is available for this position

 Qualifications – PREFERRED:  

  • 5 years’ experience in high-end residential construction
  • Experience with Excel and Word, PowerPoint
