Job Description: 
We’re seeking a Project Architect/Project Manager with a passion for design excellence and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the education sector, particularly with LAUSD and DSA. The ideal team member will have a desire to work on projects with other public and private education institutions (K12 through higher education) as well as a variety of project types, including housing, cultural, and civic institutions, allowing you to collaborate with our diverse architecture team and deliver innovative solutions, while contributing their subject matter expertise in the education sector.

Role: 
You'll lead projects from Site Analysis through Construction and DSA closeout phases and manage the project to ensure the most efficient design execution, ensuring client satisfaction. Cultivating strong client relationships will be essential, as you will serve as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion, delivering tailored architectural solutions to their unique needs and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Accredited Degree in Design or Architectural Studies (ex: BArch, MArch)
  • Professional Architectural License in the State of California is preferred, but not required
  • 10+ years of experience in the education sector with a focus on LAUSD and DSA
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is highly recommended, as it is the documentation software we use on most of our projects
  • Rhino, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
