Join Johnson Fain’s team as an FF&E Specialist for a multi-family residential project. This job is a contract position for a duration of approximately 10 - 12 months.

Here at Johnson Fain, we create beautiful interior spaces that blend design and functionality.  We are looking for a designer and FF&E specialist with a strong vision and proven experience in all stages of the furniture specification process from selection to installation. In addition, the candidate must possess a strong work ethic and excellent communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of post-graduation Interior Design experience at an interior design or architectural firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited school.
• In-depth knowledge of finishes, materials, furniture and specifications, with particular experience in multi-family residential and hospitality design.
• Excellent graphic skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and InDesign.
• Knowledge of REVIT and 3D rendering software such as Enscape, Lumion or Sketch Up is preferred.
• NCIDQ certification is preferred.

Your Role:

•  Work collaboratively with Design Director on the selection and specification of furnishings.
• Communication and coordination with the outside FF&E procurement team.
• Management of project budgets and timelines, as well as the FF&E procurement process.
• Production of presentation drawings that effectively and creatively communicate design ideas.
• Coordination of FF&E with other disciplines, as required. 

Salary Range:

•  $40/hr. - $50/hr., depending on level of experience
