Breland – Harper is an Architecture, Design, and Development firm located in Los Angeles, California. From the onset, a definite relationship between architecture, interiors, and landscape design has been a driving force in our work, with the hope of creating projects with subtle transitions between these disciplines.

We seek to synthesize the traditional and the contemporary, all while being grounded in functionality, durability, and comfort.

Principles Michael Breland and Peter Harper have designed residential, commercial, and hospitality projects across the country, with specialization in adaptive reuse and interior architecture.

Landscape Designer

The ideal candidate has 3-7 years of landscape design experience, is comfortable in 2D and 3D digital production, and already has commercial landscape experience. 

Responsibilities:

 • Collaborate with licensed landscape architect and architecture team on all phases of design

 • Produce digital drawings for review and inclusion in construction set

 • Coordinate with internal architecture team on design and drawing sets, from SD through CD

 • Prepare presentation packages and sketches using hand-drawing and digital drawing tools

Skills & Experience:

• Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution (Certificate, Bachelor's or Master's)

• 3-7 years of experience in landscape design

• Experience in drafting permit sets for permitting approval a plus

• Excellent in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp 

• Ability to make compelling digital sketches and renderings 

• Revit knowledge a plus, but not required
