A growing and award-winning firm based in Los Angeles, our diverse projects range from institutional and commercial commissions to residential and industrial design.  Our exceptional clients include: Phillips auction house, Redcar Properties, The Underground Museum, and Fuller Theological Seminary. 


We are seeking a resourceful and motivated Marketing Coordinator to operationalize our capacity to connect with a wider range of clients and projects.  Our ideal candidate will have pre-existing relationships within cultural, educational, or institutional sectors.

The Marketing Coordinator will orient to Formation Association’s peculiar firm trajectory and mobilize within existing and future market arenas, initiatives, and publicity. 

In addition to producing marketing materials and proposals, the Marketing Coordinator will manage qualifications, proposals, awards, and publication submissions, allocating staff resources to produce deadline-sensitive initiatives.   The Marketing Manager will produce strategic input and content and curate proposals and presentations to reflect Formation Association’s ethos and cultural objectives. The Marketing Manager will also formulate and maintain systems and databases for on-going marketing activities.


  • Build client connections and monitor lead services for relevant opportunities in both private and public sectors.

  • Operationalize and manage proposal deadlines.

  • Manage and coordinate staffing toward initiatives and deadlines.

  • Maintain and staff production of marketing and publicity materials across print, web, and social media content.

  • Coordinate with firm’s managers and external consultants.

  • Outreach to strategic external organizations to establish connections in regional and national market.

  • Utilize, update, and maintain firmwide marketing resources and database

  • Monitor, identify, and execute relevant opportunities and submissions.


  • 5+ years marketing experience, preferably within A/E/C field.

  • Professional Architecture Degree, BA/MA a plus.

  • Demonstrable marketing work product and analysis skills 

  • Proficient with CRM platforms, Adobe Creative Suite - specifically InDesign, and G Suite or similar virtual office environments.

  • Able to produce commentary and analysis on contemporary art and architecture.

  • Super good energy
