Social Studies Projects is a Los Angeles-based, multidisciplinary design practice looking for a part- to full-time entry-level designer with a BA, BArch or MArch degree or equivalent experience in a design or architecture field to join our intimate team of creatives. We work across a variety of scales, from renovations, additions and new-build construction, to full service interior design, custom furniture, design consulting, client representation, project management, media, films and objects. 

This role interfaces with many aspects of our growing practice, including design iteration, project research, client communication, rendering and representation, project documentation, specification, detail development, agency coordination and social media. Ideal candidates should seek to gain broad experience across multiple aspects of project delivery and have an expansive interest in current cross-disciplinary thinking, particularly in design, art, history, culture and media. Our current workload includes commercial and residential renovation and new construction projects across Los Angeles.

Ideal Candidates:
- Have previous experience interning at an architecture or design firm.
- Have experience working across a variety of software platforms such as: AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, V-Ray, Enscape, + Adobe CC.
- Can demonstrate rendering proficiency.
- Possess an exceptional attention to detail, particularly in graphics and representation.
- Have experience working on drawing sets.
- Are highly motivated to work independently and as part of a team.
- Are exceptionally organized and eager to learn.
