About the Position

We are looking for a full-time interior designer with extensive workplace design experience to help us create spaces that reflect the culture of Jane Street. You’ll play a direct role in creating innovative and functional work environments for our employees worldwide.

Our culture is collaborative, intellectually curious, and math and computer science-driven. We love patterns, game theory, and probability. The right person will develop these elements into all of our professional spaces in a way that’s culturally relevant and interesting. You should be confident working with brand elements, color and materials and be able to communicate a point of view about how they are applied.

For each project, you’ll seek input from people across the company and collaborate with our in-house architecture, engineering, and procurement teams to identify the project goals. You’ll be expected to present ideas clearly by developing sketches, models, or renderings.

Project management will be a top responsibility as you bring creative ideas to life. You’ll define goals, create timelines, select vendors, review proposals and estimates, track milestones, confirm materials, coordinate installations, and review for errors.

This role will engage with all of our offices and is based in New York.
