Ennead Director of Human Resources

As the Director of Human Resources at Ennead Architects LLP, you have an opportunity to make a transformative and lasting impact on the firm, by creating and maintaining strategies that support our innovative and forward-thinking culture while helping to cultivate educated and enjoyable experiences for our colleagues at every level.

You are an experienced and entrepreneurial HR Business Partner who can work in a group as well as autonomously, while providing strategic guidance and leadership to Partners, Senior Management and staff.  You are responsible for creating and maintaining the company’s policies, procedures, delivery, and management of Ennead’s HR programs and services (talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits, performance management, payroll, wellness, etc.)  You have both a strategic and creative way of looking at things, and have a track record of bringing innovative strategies to fruition. You are approachable, friendly and trustworthy, with the ability to think on your feet, and strength in building relationships across the organization. You have experience successfully multitasking and managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the execution of HR programs, tools, etc.
  • 10+ years experience in Human Resources with demonstrated knowledge of core HR fundamentals. Experience and expertise in an architectural or creative field preferred. 
  • Experience researching and building HR programs from the ground up, and helping to change current programs to meet current industry standards.
  • Strong business acumen and a proven record of partnering with and influencing all levels of leadership across the firm to design and implement effective HR programs and services.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  Knowledge of ADP WorkForce Now and Deltek Vision preferred.
  • Annually reviews and makes recommendations to executive management for improvement of the organization's policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organization's compliance.
  • Maintains responsibility for organization compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
  • Communicates changes in the organization's personnel policies and procedures and ensures that proper compliance is followed.
  • Assists executive management in the annual review process through completion.
  • Consults with legal counsel as appropriate, or as directed by executive management, on personnel matters.
  • Works directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters.
  • Participates on committees and special projects and seeks additional responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years experience in Human Resources
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
