  • Bachelor degree in architecture or design related field
  • Past 2 year minimum experience at architectural firm
  • Prior sales experience preferable
  • Desire to break into the marketing and selling field, stepping away from a life relegated behind a computer screen
  • Polished and well presented
  • Good at networking
  • Ability to comprehend and explain complicated technical details
  • Self starter
  • Good at working remotely and independently
  • Team oriented
  • Willingness to travel

Opportunity Description:

The Sales person supports our Sales Director in engaging with the design community, procuring new sales leads and keeping in touch with existing clients.

They will immerse themselves in our brand, communicate with clients, engage in social media and participate in industry events, and learn the Sales process in the field of architectural products and design.

They will work closely with the top interior design architects in the country on prestigious high-end projects. They will be responsible for a growing number of key accounts.

Modernus will train the candidate to become a successful technical sales person. We will help them with contacts, leads, hands-on training and they will be part of a strong can-do team.

Job Qualifications:

  • Drive product specifications through the A&D community and track project status until products are ordered.
  • Prospect, qualify, and establish new clients while maintain existing relationships.
  • Conduct product presentations to the A&D community, end users, and general contractors.
  • Possess ability to manage the sales cycle and accurately forecast
  • Conversant with digital technologies
