Our designs are fundamentally the outgrowth of rigorous investigation into the underlying data behind each challenge, from data on performance in the workplace to wind, solar, water and earth conditions on a rural building site

Job Description: This position is a growth opportunity for a highly organized individual to work in all levels of Schiller Projects. This role includes researching market opportunities, working directly with the senior partners to identify business opportunities and structure RFP responses, as well as the organization of daily office activities, new business leads and ad hoc support as needed. Previous experience working at a “creative” firm or start ups considered a plus. For the right individual this job also includes the opportunity to participate in graphic design work as well as continuing to develop the firms social media strategy. * Adobe Suite and Excel are mandatory (*Based on prior skill set)

Daily responsibilities range as follows:

  • Day-to-day work related to the general administration and organization of the office

  • Assisting partners with calendars, scheduling, client communications and development opportunities

  • Creating marketing materials related to Look Books, client collateral, award submissions and other various presentation material

  • Responding and supporting RFPs alongside project and design teams

  • Manage back-office operations including assisting bookkeeper and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of office and team

  • Social Media updates (dependent upon prior experience and qualification)

    • *Role to include graphic design, white paper creation and press communication

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented individual who is as comfortable working in a startup environment as s/he is working in a more formal office setting

  • Self-starter and a creative problem solver

  •  Ability to operate on several different tasks within a given day across several different projects and be able to report on the status of each at any given time

  • Ability to meet the regular and demanding deadlines of the office

Employee background:

Minimum qualifications

  • 4-year college degree

  • Proficient in Microsoft suite (excel in particular) and adobe suite

  • Prior experience providing administrative support

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to company and team values

Preferred qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in creating proposals/marketing collateral

  • Prior experience organizing and managing multiple priorities with competitions deadlines

  • Knowledge of in-design and quickbooks

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with a wide cross section of individuals from different background

  • Has worked in creative field or in a startup environment
