ACCOUNT DIRECTOR / SOHO

The Account Director is based in New York, and chief responsibilities of this position are focused on project and client management.

The Account Director is the day-to-day contact for clients and projects that are based in New York. Besides providing strong strategic insights as well as time and budget management, the Account Director works closely with each project’s Creative Director for all creative development needs, including briefing, tracking, and production.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Generating deliverable/financial proposals
  • Tracking invoices and project costs in an organized fashion throughout the duration of each project
  • Clearly communicating client needs to the team and delivering on schedule and under budget, including generating status reports and monitoring team member progress
  • Establishing deadlines and tracking team progress to execute deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • Giving direction to graphic and web designers to maintain brand identity established by Creative Director and/or Managing Director
  • Reviewing and critiquing work with a perfectionist’s eye
  • Creating client presentations in Keynote
  • Leading and monitoring client presentations, including providing marketplace and strategic insight and selling-in creative recommendations
  • Acting as a liaison between client, internal parties, vendors, partners, and production teams
  • Tracking project timelines, creative production, and to-do lists in Basecamp
