Project Manager

Pembrooke & Ives is a Manhattan-based firm specializing in high-end residential projects and has designed an extensive number of projects across the globe from luxurious urban residences in New York, Miami and London to sophisticated and elegant retreats in the Greek Islands, Aspen, Palm Beach and the Hamptons to the innovative interiors of private yachts and jets. With a range of completed and new compelling projects we are seeking a talented Project Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities: You will work under a Director to lead a project that is currently in CA. This is a luxury multi-unit development in Manhattan. Experience working with developers, contractors and coordinating various trades in the context of high-end developments is a must. You will be responsible for initiating communication with and responding to clients, vendors, contractors, and subcontractors. Must be detail oriented and maintain a highly organized project folder structure per the established office standards. Must take detailed notes and distribute meeting minutes and delegate tasks as necessary to the team. You will also help on other various projects as needed. This is a full-time contract to hire position and you must be available to work in the Pembrooke and Ives office.


·       Minimum 6-8 years professional experience, (2-3 min in project management having successfully completed installs.)

·       A Bachelor in Architecture or Interior Design at minimum

·       Experience in High-end residential and multi-unit residential interiors.

·       Strong communication skills

·       Self-motivated and an ability for multi-tasking and prioritizing.

·       Proficient managing schedules, projects and design teams for Interiors.

·       Proficient at creating drawing sets and maintaining drawings that adhere to office standards.

·       Experience forecasting project budget and hours and managing staff hours to stay within budget.

·       Experience requesting bids from contractors, millworkers, and other consultants and creating construction and material budgets for client review.  

·       Experience with Construction Administration; consultant coordination.

·       Knowledge of construction documentation, site supervision, and client contact.

·       Proficiency with graphic software (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)  AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite

·       Candidate must be legally able to work in the U.S.
