We are currently looking for a talented, ambitious and well-rounded Studio Manager with a minimum of 15 years experience to conduct Practice Management and Team Leadership. The ideal candidate should be extremely professional, possess strong communication skills, be comfortable with all levels of staff, and be experienced in scheduling projects.   

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years experience in Practice Management and Team Leadership of diverse projects.
  • CA licensed Architect. Professional degree in Architecture. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication and coordination skills required.
  • Experience managing a design team, including architectural staff members.
  • Experience in scheduling project/staff workflow, and knowledge of MS Project.
  • Well-versed in all facets of project management.
  • Strong knowledge of staff leading, development and mentoring.
  • Experience with business development and contract negotiations.
  • Excellence in developing and maintaining good client relationships.
  • Expert in construction administration and construction document quality control.
  • Experience in profitability monitoring.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit is required.
  • 3D rendering proficiency with experience in Sketch-Up and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Candidates must be US citizens.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and project management expertise with responsibility for client satisfaction, service quality and financial  performance.
  • Balance a fast-paced work environment and execute obstacles and tight deadlines with a positive attitude. The candidate should be highly reliable, outgoing, a strong communicator, and able to prioritize and multi-task as required.
  • Create and oversee full schedules on all projects and keep up with   deadlines and critical milestones.
  • Supervise, manage and monitor production from the design team.
  • Communicate work details in every step of construction, including detailed documentation phases and extensive materials knowledge.   
  • Work closely with staff to preserve design intent through DD, CD, CA.
  • Lead/Coordinate communication by way of design team meetings for project updates.
  • A desire to mentor team members, offer guidance and leadership.
  • Use company standard methods to the greatest degree possible.
  • Contribute to business development.
  • Ensure fulfillment of all contractual requirements for professional services.
