Job Description:

We currently are seeking an experienced Architectural Detailer/Construction Administrator to join our Studio. This professional will be performing construction administration services for mainly cultural interiors and residential high-rise projects. Additional projects may include mixed use office buildings and institutional projects.  We are looking for an individual who can work closely with our Studio to help develop and execute the construction details to maintain the high level of design and be the external face on the construction site and internal resource within the Studio.

Job Responsibilities:

·        Work closely with Studio and Client to maintain design intent of built work

·        Maintain and distribute all incoming RFIs and Submittals to internal team and consultants

·        Follow up with internal team and consultants on status of RFIs and submittals

·        Consult with and report on construction related issues with the architectural project team and consultants

·        Maintain knowledge of current codes and practices

·        Maintain favorable working relationships with clients, contractors, and CA department

·        Attend OAC calls when required

·        Assist with Production projects when needed – developing design details independently

·        Assist Studio in QC/QA review of DD and CD submissions

Basic Qualifications:

·        Minimum 10 years professional experience seeing projects through Construction

·        Bachelor of Science degree in architecture, architectural engineering, construction administration, or in a related field

·        Excellent interpersonal and time management skills

·        Excellent clear and concise written and verbal communication

·        Ability to work independently and work collaboratively in a team environment

·        Positive attitude and driven to succeed

·        Ability to multi-task

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Experience with multi-family, high end interiors, mixed-use and high-rise development

·        Experience using CAD

·        Experience using REVIT (not required)
