The Role

We are looking for a full-time office-based Visualization Specialist to join the design team at our Manhattan office. The candidate will work alongside architects and interior designers to portray the spaces we design to our clients, driving the narrative and evoking a compelling sense of place; of lighting, texture and mood through the creation of photorealistic imagery and vignettes.

Desired skills:

  • A thorough and in-depth knowledge of Photoshop, Rhino, 3DS Max and V-Ray is essential, as well as experience with AutoCAD and the ability to read and interpret architectural plans and technical drawings;
  • Thorough knowledge of the technical process of creating a photorealistic image, including lighting, camera set-up, texturing etc;
  • The foresight to choose the most appropriate workflow for the situation;
  • Aptitude to work under tight deadlines and excellent time management skills;
  • Ability to receive artistic and technical critique and act upon it as and where appropriate;
  • Ability to interpret ambiguous aesthetic direction;
  • Strong communication skills and ability to provide a clear indication of project timeframes and manage expectations of team members;
  • Strong passion for the visual arts, for 3d rendering and CGI technologies and the possibilities and potential that they bring;
  • Highly refined presentation skills;
  • Legal authorization to work in the US and fluency in English.

We are looking for a candidate with a keen eye for design and composition; somebody who can manipulate light and shadow, color and texture, and tell a story through imagery.
