WMA has an immediate opening for an experienced full time Project Manager in our Los Angeles / South Bay (Torrance) office for multi-family residential projects. 

Minimum qualifications include:

  • 10 years’ experience in high-density residential/mixed-use projects
  • Excellent graphic and verbal communication
  • Proven leadership/management experience
  • Candidate must be proficient in Revit
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (recent releases)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in construction phase concurrently

Some of the duties involve:

  • Coordinating documents and overseeing quality control and detailing of projects
  • Reviewing shop drawings and material samples for conformance with design
  • Conducting and documenting field observations to monitor progress of construction
  • Performing construction administration duties (RFI’s, change orders, etc.)
  • Managing staff, clients, consultants and projects

Internal responsibilities involve:

  • Maintaining project budgets, staff scheduling, and mentoring of junior architectural staff
  • Ability to initiate and maintain client relationships in support of the firm’s business development efforts (essential) 

Bonus Points:

  • Licensed Architect in the State of California and/or NCARB certification
  • LEED certification
