Oko Group, the developer behind Miami's newest office tower, with 830 Brickell is introducing a host of features designed to meet and exceed heightened standards brought upon by the COVID-19 pandemic for companies across the U.S. and around the world that relocate and expand to South Florida in search of sunny skies, low taxes and improved quality of life.
From state-of-the-art ultraviolet lighting in air filtration systems, to touchless technologies and a dizzying array of amenities that will be available exclusively to tenants, Miami’s first-ever Class A-plus office tower is setting out to attract the world’s most discerning companies.
The vision of international real estate magnate Vladislav Doronin, Chairman and CEO of OKO Group, and Cain International, 830 Brickell marks the first standalone office tower to be developed in Miami’s urban core in more than a decade.
The interior design of 830 Brickell was entrusted to the Italian architecture and design company Iosa Ghini Associati. Together with OKO Group and Cain International, Iosa Ghini has anticipated how the pandemic will reshape the future of business by incorporating new features into the plans.
"We thought about the building and its use in its entirety, the management of people and their movement in the spaces - explains architect Massimo Iosa Ghini - with the awareness that the need arising from the current pandemic situation requires more open environments, with more light, larger for greater ventilation ".
“Having developed more than 50 million square feet of office space around the world, our team, together with Iosa Ghini’s team, understands the unique demands of multinational corporations and with 830 Brickell will fulfil the ultimate wish list of top-tier users from around the world, making it an iconic tower for a gateway city,” said OKO Group Chairman and CEO Vladislav Doronin. “There is significant demand for premium office space in the heart of Miami’s business district, positioning 830 Brickell to capture tenants that are planning for their long-term future."
AIR & WATER QUALITY
● HEPA filtration standards will be integrated within all air conditioning and ventilation systems, removing 99.97 percent of particles from air as it circulates through the building
● Ultraviolet (UV) lights and bipolar ionization systems will be installed in the tower’s air flow systems, helping to remove contaminants and prevent bacteria growth within equipment
● Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) sanitation and filtration will be standard throughout the building, ensuring higher quality drinking water for tenants and visitors
WELLNESS TECHNOLOGIES
● Touch-free fixtures will be prevalent throughout the tower’s common spaces, lobbies, restrooms, and amenities
● Contactless entry and exit will apply to the building’s parking garage, street-level entrances, and elevator systems
● Automatic lighting and shades will alleviate the need for tenants to come into direct contact with light switches and manual window fixtures
AMENITIES
● A world-class health and wellness center with panoramic views of Miami and Biscayne Bay will feature locker rooms, yoga studio and private showers for 830 Brickell tenants
● An open-air rooftop bar and first-class restaurant on the tower’s 56th and 57th floors will offer expansive views of the City
● The tower’s private conference facility will be available to tenants for events, meetings, and employee training sessions on a reservation basis
● A 24-hour concierge service responsible for event planning and coordination, booking restaurant reservations, sending out dry cleaning, organizing deliveries and more
