PBDW Architects, New York City, Staff Architect
Worked in various capacities in this 40-person firm throughout the project development process of a wide range of building types and scales.
■ Conducted existing conditions surveys, researching historic documents and images to translate into working drawings for the basis of design.
■ Assisted in the schematic design phase of several projects, including producing sketches and renderings for presentation and discussion with clients.
■ Developed project designs through materials selection and research, collaboration with consultants and engineers to generate coordinated design strategies, and producing drawings for cost estimates as well as Department of Buildings approval for code compliance.
■ Produced construction document sets for projects of varying sizes in both AutoCAD and Revit, including a private school, hotel/retail tower, storefront renovations, and office fit-outs. This included detailing and modeling egress and lobby stairs, decorative metal facade elements, and aluminum and glass storefront. Some drawings required Revit modeling that included a wide range of family creation to a level of detail sufficient to shoot presentation-ready renderings.
■ Participated in construction administration processes, including job site inspections, conducting detailed construction coordination with contractors and consultants, reviewing structural steel shop drawings, punchlisting and reviewing the final stages of construction, as well as preparing filing documents to be submitted to the Department of Buildings.
■ Participated in the operations of the office as a part of the library team, which required re-organizing and editing the sample materials and literature inventory, meeting with industry representatives, and coordinating office lunch-and-learn presentations.

Created a men’s fashion brand from initial concept through product development to marketplace. Provided creative direction for the project, including naming and brand lexicon, product design and fabric selection, package design, art direction for photo shoots and imagery. Responsible for sourcing design and production consultants, as well as contributing to the development and execution of marketing initiatives.

Created branded street-art events in Brooklyn and Queens. Sourced artists to produce event-based art works, co-curated the exhibitions including personal works, handled business transactions, and provided event support including coordinating beverage sponsorships and professional deejays.
