INTEGRATION

The existing building and new equipment adapted to coexist with the environment and as an integral element of the neighborhood. The strategy is to propose a new building with functional flexibility and use over time.

The relationship between the existing building and the extension is through the east façade - union of the past with the present.
The new space functions as a generator element spaces (squares) with physical and visual relationships. It is characterized by a language that contrasts with that of "La Torre Sagrera" giving an answer to the need for solar control and views.
To ensure better continuity of paths, solar opens in the city. As public space serves as a place of respect in the neighborhood that will work as an interior garden for the city and will serve future continuity with green and shopping areas.

The proposed equipment is proposed as a new facade for the city. The existing building serves as an invitation to enter. For this reason, the ground floor is the one with greater openness to the outside space and visual and spatial relates to the existing building
