The studio sets up a retroactive scenario in designing an Olympic Park with respect to its post-Olympic inhabitation.
The project investigates the potential adaptation of Olympic programming, confronting the challenge of facilitating a
transition from present to future uses in strict architectural terms. This transformation entails diverse issues of formal
legibility, fitness, accommodation, and affordance in conjunction with concerns of materiality, ecological change, and
infrastructural systems. It remains invested in the initial Olympic role, but asks what this infrastructure can mean to
the city, to the local inhabitants, and for the site after its symbolic appeal has worn off.
