Schindler House
West Hollywood, CA
(Field to Object – Object to Field - Object to Object)
This project was inspired by and built upon formal and conceptual ideas; some involves geometrical investigations that have to do with the transformation and revolution of line to field to object with empathy towards one another. Other ideas involves Gothic as an architecture style in contemporary architecture, looking at the density and formal vocabulary of its architecture elements and bring it back to the scale of a single family house.
Artificial garden and romanticism as elements of decays becomes the instruments that create the rhythm which generates the form of the field and also the house as separate entities but also composes both in sympathy.
