As a response to an extensive investigation into the construction of big box stores, big hexy looks at what would happen if one simple construction element were to change. The subject of this investigation is the rectangular structural bay commonly used in big box construction.
By altering this one component, what possibilities and opportunities could emerge?
In this case, the rectangular structural bay is transformed into a hexagonal shape, while still maintaining the same construction systems and logics of the more traditional bay.
