The Ritz-Carlton Residences Waikiki Beach transforms a complex, undervalued site into a vibrant mixed-use district that provides new public amenities and commercial activity in the heart of Waikiki. 

The project is composed of two towers that share a seven-story podium and an eighth floor open-air, sky lobby. The hotel’s massing reflects the local context —responding to the urban grid to the north and the organic, flowing coastline to the south. This unique vocabulary is shared across the two facades, a strategy that knits this complicated, multi-phased project together. 

At the intersection of urban density and stunning natural landmarks, the building creates a bridge between the surrounding neighborhood and Honolulu’s wider landscape.
