Hunt Library Lighting

As part of an Architectural Lighting Elective and continuing on to an independent study, students developed a conceptual plan for transforming many of the interior spaces of the library with light as well as highlighting the exterior. The independent study focused on creating a phasing plan for the implementation of this plan. The current library lighting scheme evolved out of the initial facade concepts in this project and uses LED lights to highlight the facade with infinite possibilities. This project was featured on the cover of July 2011 CHOICE academic library magazine.
