"Each form represents a displaced element of surfers paradise. Together in their reflection, the facade mimics their only linking element - The pedestrian crossing - Through a sound pattern pulled from our student film"

At the beginning of this project we were given the site of Surfers Paradise and told to document it in a short film. I found the site to be a chaos of influences and aesthetics, however at every street corner one was forced to pause and wait at a pedestrian crossing. 

The crossings seemed to be the one consistent element throughout. This inspired my cinema design.

This work was completed by hand, in Adobe Photoshop and in AutoCAD.
